About Our Puppies.

Beacon Hill puppies are always home-raised with love and attention from our immediate and extended family. Training and socialization begin on day one and continue daily until they leave for their new homes. Beacon Hill puppies arrive in their new homes well-socialized with adults, children, and other dogs.
+ Our puppies are placed between 9-10 weeks of age. By this time, they have been crate trained and are well on their way to being housebroken. Puppies have had some preliminary obedience training and are familiar with routine grooming procedures. Our summer puppies are exposed water play, and our winter puppies learn to have fun in the snow.
All of our breeding stock is tested for the known herediary diseases of the breed, and have fulfilled the PWDCA recommended health requirements. Our puppies are guaranteed against severe hip dysplasia for the first year of their life. We have a refund/replacement policy should any puppy evidence severe dysplastic problems within that year. All our puppies are sold with a contract outlining the responsibilities of both parties.

We know that a PWD is not the dog for everyone, and we do our best to provide the best match for you and your family. Prior to placement, our puppies are personality tested and professionally evaluated for conformation, enabling us to make the best puppy/owner match. We take the time to get to know you, because we want our match to last a lifetime and bring you all the joy you anticipate with your new family member.
Because of the PWD's inquisitive and somewhat independent nature, along with a natural need for exercise, we strongly recommend a yard or area with an above-ground fence. A PWD can do well in a city environment, as long as you have the commitment to provide enough walks to satisfy the energy needs of your dog.
